Well, my Mom and I finally finished our projects for the nursery. That means we have some homemade shelves (by Mom, Dad, and I), homemade framed scenes (Mom and I), homemade pillows (Sister-in-law), homemade blankets (Mother-in-law and a friend from my first teaching job), homemade bedding (all from my Mother-in-law!), and homemade burp clothes (Sister-in-law). I hope I'm not leaving anything homemade out. How sweet are all of those little things??? I love it!
Here is a sampling (bedding's not ready yet and I forgot to take pictures of the blankets and burp cloths--those will be up later!):
PS--that rocking chair is mine from when I was a baby. Awwww!!!!
That's it for tonight. The nursery's still a mess--everything's out on display for now, but soon I'll have to actually organize it (soon as in...this week!). It'll be so nice when everything's in its place (which we have to determine).
Tomorrow's my first UH-HEM--"EXAM"--ya know? I'm excited to see what's going on. I feel like she's making some progress, but I'm sure doctor will say, "nope--nothin' yet--keep on working." I'm not getting my hopes up too high. Plus that'll give me time on this nursery!!
Ahhh-the dreaded exam. It is cool to see if you're making progress or not, though. But that was my least favorite part of the whole childbirth experience. I was all about things coming out at that point, not going in. :)
ReplyDeleteOh man--for real; it was worse than expected. HELLO!
