Well, these passed two nights I've slept without Camille. Siiiiigh. I miss her snuggly little body and soft hands.
Is she in the playpen? No.
Is she in the crib? Alas, no.
She's still in her carseat. Is this bad parenting? :) She's just so much warmer and more secure feeling in there. She's even slept 7 hours still! It's amazing.
I was "this" close to putting her in the playpen last night, but it was still in the living room and not set up for her and she had already fallen asleep--way earlier than I was expecting. Plus, I'm in no real hurry to get back to my bed. I know this sounds bad, but B doesn't go to sleep until super late (almost 4am last night), so if I was go sleep in bed he'd wake me up when he gets in, then I'd have to get up an hour later to feed her, and then up again soon after for the day. That's not cool. I'm thinking about making B take the couch for a while. :) We have a heated mattress pad...it's so unfair.
We're making progress at least. We are off to Texas for Christmas, so at least now we know she can sleep soundly without being on me--even if it is in a carseat.
In other news: BIG NEWS!!
My sister in law that started the natural birth craze for me is in labor again! Baby #2! She's been at it for a while, God bless her! Prayers are appreciated! A new little nephew's on his way--can't wait! Babies, babies, babies! Big year for babies.
My moms mom had 5 great grandchildren born in 2010, I've had a niece born on the other side of my family, a best friend that had a little boy, and of course my own child. That's 8 that I know well, and then 2 of my mom's friends' daughters have had children too!! Wowie!
