Happy Three Years My Love!

Three years from this past Tuesday, Brian and I were married.  Since then he's gotten his PhD in chemistry, we've learned how to live happily together, I have had three jobs, we have moved once, and we have one beautiful six month old baby girl (to the day) and a stronger bond to show for it all!  It has been great!

It is true that you grow to love each other more and more each year.  We are much closer now than we were.

We got Aunt Linds to babysit and went to dinner AND a movie!!  First time we've done more than a dinner date since her arrival in October!  I talked B into seeing Jane Eyre with me since I just finished the book, and it was so nice. (The movie wasn't great compared to the book, but was a good little date movie.) We ate at Texas de Brazil, which has been getting all kinds of rave reviews in town.  It has a huge salad bar with unusual things on it and then people bring all kinds of meat to you and you take what you like.  They also brought out these little cheesy breads and some mashed potatoes and sauteed bananas.  My favorite part??  The bananas!!  They were covered in cinnamon and sugar and were awesome.  The filet, cheesy breads and selections of cheese at the salad bar were other winners.  Overall, I think the place is a little overrated and there were people in there dressed for yard work and with lots of little kids.  It made it feel way more casual than I'd like for such a pricey meal and a special day.  We won't be back soon.

That said--we did enjoy it and our night out very much!!  Thanks Linds!
