Oh tums...why must you fail me?
Today I:
1. Went to Mass
2. Lifted heavy chairs
3. Bent over for a while cleaning the floor with my hands
4. Bent over some more to clean the tub
5. Cleaned the toilet
6. Baked cookies
7. Washed 1.3 million dishes (and dried and put them away)
8. Bent over a little more and spot cleaned the kitchen floor
9. Moved furniture
10. Did laundry
11. Went grocery shopping
12. Bought more work pants
13. Blogged twice (woah)
14. Cooked dinner
15. Ordered sandwiches for book club....because really? I'm not making them at this point.
16. Cleaned and plattered some grapes and carrots
17. Plattered the cookies
18. Wiped down the fridge and stove and trash can
(not necessarily in this order)
and now...we wait.
Tomorrow night is book club...and I offered to host. Because I'm insane and hate myself.
Doing these things normally isn't too bad, but with this huge baby it's a little tiring and frustrating. Not to mention all of the bend-over-jobs make my heartburn so bad I just want to cry. Which I did. I actually cried from cleaning. This is a new point in my life for sure.
It's 7:30...and I'm just finishing up, so I'm going to go shower and go to bed. Luckily everything is set up for tomorrow and I can just come home from work (which wears me out!) and shower and enjoy book club (minus a big glass of wine...which I could really use right now).
My ankles still aren't as big as they get at work after a day...so what am I doing differently???
I'm off to melt into a shower and then into my bed. God, please get me through this week. I'm so tired already!
I'm sorry you are suffering from heartburn. I totally understand your pain. I had it really bad with both of my pregnancies. Tums did nothing for me. I used to drink Maalox out of the bottle. Sometimes chocolate milk settled it too.
ReplyDeleteMMmm...chocolate milk. I could use some of that--especially if it helps with heartburn! I don't think I could stomach maalox in the liquid form--something about the texture gets me.
