Nursing Covers!!!!

Okay, I've been slacking...but hello.  I'm pregnant and working a new job.

I am loving this "I'm pregnant" thing...because it's legit, and works so well when you need it.  It's like you're taking advantage of people, but not lying about it--you genuinely need whatever you're asking for.  Example:
"I need to go home and put my feet up, my ankles are gargantuan." (me before open house was done with the last period of the day--I stayed for all but the last period--it was almost 8pm!)  Bosses: "oh yeah--go girl."---awesome.  And, seriously, my ankles were huge and I was standing the whole time, and zero parents came to talk to me.  Bleh--that's another story, but not a great one, so I'll omit it.
Tonight I left our football game early...hello....it's 100 degrees with 100 % humidity and I worked all day.  Home.

Back on topic:  Nursing Covers!!!!

I got a nursing cover from another one of my talented friends (I am surrounded).  She sewed this baby in about 5 minutes and had it in the mail the same day I asked her about it.  Plus, I asked her to add boning to the top so I could look down at baby easily--and bam; she did it no problem.  Maybe some of your are thinking, "that's so easy to sew"--but do you have a young son and another baby on the way and live a state over and still do this for someone else in a matter of minutes and mail it to them asap?  I mean, it was impressive.  Plus the fabric is adorable.  Of course....I have pictures!!!

I tried to capture the boning, but it just looks like the material's looped out at the neck because of a wrinkle.  Just know that it is structured to do that.  I wish I did this more justice with my pictures because I love it!

I think it's awesome!  Very good material too--sturdy.  I have a professionally made one coming (I ordered it forever ago, but it was on backorder apparently), and I bet that this one will be my favorite over the professional one.  Good news is she's starting up an Etsy Page!!!  Her things will be posted soon--she's got lots going on, but I'm telling you, she gets this stuff out fast!

We have our first baby shower tomorrow!!  I have a little treat for all of the little girls!!  I am apparently a dufus though--we will have at least one little boy there (our nephew!!) and I didn't get him anything.  Here are the girl treats:

Now...what's comparable to this for a boy???  Nothing!  They don't accessorize!  Eesh.  I'm a failure.  I'll have to come up with something by the morning...which is approaching quickly.  I just finished gluing the last touches on the bows...BEDTIME!
