How do people with kids not in their bellies keep up with blogs and jobs and husbands and family and friends??? I mean, the madness has to stop some time.
It's been almost a full week since my first exam!! I can't even imagine that. I go back tomorrow for another one (yay....), but we do get an ultrasound, so that makes it less scary and more exciting.
I managed to schedule a parent conference for two students RIGHT before I need to leave for the doctor...talk about unprofessional to say, "yeah...this is important and a legal document we're discussing, and your kid isn't behaving in class or doing his work, but...I have to go see my baby!!!" Which is totally what I want to say and run out. We'll see how that goes.
My mom and mother-in-law are awesome. Sunday we had a little open house to show off the nursery and to just visit with people before C gets here. Well, Saturday Mrs. B managed to get all of the bedding done and in!!! Wow!!! It's all finished (pictures when I have time to breathe)! It looks great, of course.
THEN: Sunday she had lunch for us before we had people over. And today, I went to Mom's to walk with her (forever--great walk--she's trying to help me get baby out!) and she casually mentions that she has dinner for me and B--ground patties, green beans, broccoli salad, and cantaloupe. We haven't even had the baby yet and they're feeding us!! I love them! Greatness.
I am ready for baby C mannnn. I don't think I'll make it three more weeks--she is getting too big and she's SO low. My poor pelvis. I hope she's as ready as I am. We'll see what's going on tomorrow! I also get to talk to the lady about the birthing tub tomorrow--I'm super excited about that. More details later!
