Blog? What Blog?

Okay...I haven't written in a while because--who has the time???

Camille's growing!  She's skipping naps sometimes (today almost all naps) and is getting longer and crawling further and faster (still more of an army crawl).  She's making funny faces and is reaching towards us when we go to get her.  She still sleeps all night (thank goodness) and she still puts herself to sleep--although lately she's been crying again.  Right now she's wailing...so maybe she's just continuing to skip today's naps completely.  I'm about go to get her...eesh.

She's wearing cute outfits and it is fun to dress her up.  We're only a few weeks away from eating food!  Things are sure getting exciting!  We are really enjoying her and how she's so interactive now.

She munches on her toes and has the greatest thighs.  She is now talking to herself in the crib--I love that.

She's just a lot of fun in general and our lives are so different and so great with her.  Come on number 2!

  2. Not on the way yet, but we are looking at starting to try again in June. :) I'm just afraid that once I get used to Camille being independent I won't ever go back--I won't want to relive the sleep deprivation. I want to just have about 10 years of crazy and then be done with it all and have kids old enough to dress and feed themselves and all. Plus I want them to be close in age.

  3. I got pregnant within a month of both of my girls' first birthdays, so that puts the first two 21 mos apart and the next two 22mos (if all goes according to plan, anyway). It was definitely crazy that first year, as the oldest one was still so needy and dependent. There were days I thought I'd lose my mind. Like every day.

But NOW I love having them so close together--they play together so well and they just LOVE each other so much--it makes me get all gooey every day when I see them being so sweet to one another. They genuinely enjoy each other's company--and that makes all the crazy of yesteryear worth it!!
