Braggart

Okay...I realize I'm jinxing myself for later...but:

I have the MOST AWESOME kid ever!!!! 

I realize this may be a little bit biased and off base...but, she is amazing.

First off: She went to bed at 8 last night--no rocking or patting required.  I just put her in her little playpen (in her Boppy Lounger--still not doing well just flat) and she went to sleep.  Annnnnd: Didn't wake up until 5 am!!!  AND that was just to eat--she went right back to sleep until 8am!!!  I mean...WHAT?  Wow.

Second:  We got her shots today.  Uuuugh.  Luckily B was able to come.  Her check up went beautifully.  She's in 75th percentile on weight and head size, but 90th on length--my little Amazon princess.  The shots came and went--girlfriend cried, but then when we got in the car she went right to sleep.  She had stopped crying before we got her in her carseat!  She's been fine so far the rest of the day.  I'm just so impressed!  She's fantastic!

I realize these two things may not fully support my claims of her top-ratedness, but I'm a new mom, so it really impresses me.  Especially after hearing so many horror stories.  AND: She's way more fun to brag about since I have been doing not-so-hot on working out and eating well.  Ugh.  I can't have another baby near holiday season.

I haven't jogged in a long time.  My knee was bugging me, then I fell right on it...smart one!  I think I need new shoes so my knee won't bother me...and that's expensive.  I am finally cooking though, so we have actual food (not snacks) around and it's healthy--or has been mostly healthy so far.

Back to work in two weeks.  Who knows what I'm going to wear?  Especially with it being cold...I haven't got much to choose from...should be fun.  :/
